I just remembered that yesterday when I brought up the cutting with my T, she said she was planning to bring it up herself, and I asked her why she hadn't for a few weeks. She said it was because she wanted to "feel like we were on the same side" (so she was avoiding it). She looked somewhat uncomfortable saying this (maybe she realized how messed up it sounds on some level). But I actually understood and appreciated this, since every time we have talked about, I leave feeling like we're adversaries rather than allies.

I feel like I'm just trying (once again) to make my T look bad. I have to stop doing this.
This is the end of the thread.
