Eating problems when I think of my T.

Posted by KindGirl on February 13, 2004, at 2:03:33

I have noticed something lately that is alarming me and it has just started happening about a week now. I am hungry, get something to eat, take a few bites and then something reminds me of my t. and I get sick to my stomach and can't eat. Like really nauseous and nervous.

Talked to t. about it today and I can't really put one emotion or trigger on it...what causes it...but I was wondering if anyone here has a similar reaction or can be in the middle of something enjoyable and think of your t. and then be miserable or scared or sad or whatever ?????

Yes this happens to me a lot. Especially on the days of my appointment. I usually get sick and throw up. I lose my appetite.

I know...it is really bad!
Yesterday, after my t. appt, I went to the mall. I was STARVING....got a hamburger. Sat down and tried to talk myself into eating it....she told me to think of her telling me it is good for me to eat, good for me to eat good things...that I deserve good things...etc...but when I think of her it makes me sick!!

So what I tried to do was think of God talking to me...God telling me, "Eat this...I made this for you...it is okay...it is good...I made this for you to enjoy..." and that helped. A little. I only ate half.

I know on my t. days I have diarrhea sometimes...lovely!!!! I know it is nerves and it does get better with time. I am having it less and less on my t. days.

good luck and thanks for writing...
