Just curious if many others here suffer from diagnosed migraine, ones that are treted with triptans, preventatives, etc. I have had them for the past 10 years or so, seen the neuros, specialists, etc. But do wonder how many others find migraine and depression are, as they say, comorbid.
Thanks

Shortelise,
I had migraines for a long time, but I never officially had them diagnosed or treated. I would just take excedrin and go to bed. I also have atypical depression. Since I have been on Nardil, I have not had a single migraine, although I did have a really bad headache after Thanksgiving. I think it was the dressing which had the giblets in it. Liver is a no-no for those of us on MAOI's.I did not expect this wonderful side benefit from the Nardil. I also do not get the tension headaches that I used to get nearly every day. I may have to toss out my Tylenol and Excedrin!
Good luck with yours. I know how painful and debilitating migraines can be.

I find that I have so much in common with much that I read here - I do wonder if there are any here who suffer from migraines.
Thanks
