For those interested... my experience with Lexapro has been very dissapointing. I've had a history of depression and only recently have begun med.'s as a possible help for any imbalance in my brain. I began taking wellbutrin, which I loved, but severe itching and loud ringing in my ears led me to have to stop.
Then I began taking Lexapro 3 and 1/2 weeks now and can honestly say that it has made me feel worse than ever. I am tired all the time, I have terrible nightmares now waking me all night, I have dry mouth, and what's worse I don't even want my husband to touch me at all...and as well, I feel more anxious and irritable than ever! So, for those of you wondering...or suffering the same fate on this med... get off it! I know I stopped taking it as of today...and look forward to anything other than this feeling I've been having since on it.
