Been on Epilim Chrono nearly a month now, 500mg morning and night, + 40mg Prozac. New diagnosis of Bipolar - they've thought it was just depression for years.
Lost my job since going on Epilim - I had driving job, too zonked to drive, too tired to care anyway as it happens.
Seem to sleep almost 24/7 atm, is this normal? Is this life now? Or am I gonna wake up more in a bit? My hair's so badly matted I think it'll need shaving off eventually, can't go out cos I smell bad. Eating jam sandwiches only.
Think I was better manic, wasn't coping, but at least had some self respect.
Anyone out there been in same boat as me?

Please call your psychiatrist (or GP - whoever prescribed it for you). When the side effects are worse than the disease they need to make a change. But don't stop taking it until they tell you how - there are many meds that you have to wean off of carefully or you will be more miserable (is that possible?).
They will probably move this to Psycho-Babble - that's the board for med questions. The folks there may have more information for you.
Good luck

Sorry if it's confusing, but there are a number of boards here, and (just plain) Psycho-Babble is the one that focuses on medication. Here's a link:
