Does anyone know of a website that has a depression chat that is live, not a forum like psyco babble? Sometimes I need to talk to someone who is going through or understands my situation right when I am feeling depressed or especially, anxious. I have looked around a bit online and don't know if I can trust the few I have found that seem to be a live chat, mature and legitamit. P.S, is there any way to spell check our messeges here before we post them? I am the most HORRIBLE speller on earth and am embarrased to post messeges where I know I have misspelled so many words. Thanks,
-B

HI!
Although it is not consistently available, there is a "place" for babble chats--it is at yahoo. It is at "Psycho-Babble Open", which is a yahoo group:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/psycho-babble-open/
It is only "chatting" when someone basically calls a chat. So, you could post here that you want to have a chat at a certain day and time, and hopefully you will get folks to come.
I don't chat a lot, so maybe someone who does can say more about how frequently it tends to be used.
And btw, PLEASE don't worry about spelling mistakes!! The babble boards are essentially a "come as you are party"!
Welcome.

Does anyone know of an IRC network that has a Depression chat? or similar?
Unfortunately my computer has a *real* problem with any browser-based or Java type chat, but I use IRC regularly and would be grateful to learn of any channels on any network that would suit. :)
