Bill Clinton at the Dem Convention: WOW!

Posted by Willful on September 6, 2012, at 11:36:31

Anybody watch Bill Clinton's speech last night??

If you missed it, you absolutely should watch it online. It's on Youtube from all the networks and on the NY Times website.

It's full of good information about many issues-- jobs, welfare, debt repayment for college students, tax reform, more jobs, healthcare, education, highways, gridlock in Washington, and more. If there are issues that you care about-- listen to the speech. Clinton covered the differences in the Dem and Republican positions on them-- clearly, succinctly and truthfully. There's been a ton of fact-checking on the speech and while there have been a few quibbles, everyone admits that he was right on the fact.

Political commentators are saying that it's one of his best ever, if not his best ever.

Be prepared-- it's long-- but it will keep you glued to the screen.

Anyone who's unsure, or even who just wants to know the Dem positions on the issues-- Clinton explains it all, brilliantly and honestly.

The Times website has the prepared text-- but be aware-- Clinton deviated from the script and gave large portions of the speech extemporaneously.
