There is a rough rule of Australian politics. The Australian Labor Party is only elected when the economic times are bad or about to become so. This happened in 1972, 1983, and 2007. I was impressed by the justice (so rarely experienced) that the economic sh*t hit the fan during GWBs tenure. So there's no money left now? That's the way it works. There's money for everything else. But it is a useful reminder of what we all know to be true: that things are more important than people, and that freedom, as we understand it these days, is about having things.

I don't think I know enough to comment on the article. The article doesn't really say a whole lot either. Doesn't explain anything. But I thought obama said getting america out of financial crisis would take time? also it isn't his fault. I thought it began before he took office.
health care..I heard on the news today that public choice is going to be implemented or being considered or something and I have no idea what that is. It sounds like..maybe people will be able to choose if they want to take part in a govt health care plan if a bill is passed?
