Anyone else hate Coast to Coast AM?

Anyone here ever listen to Coast to Coast AM with George Noory and/or Art Bell? I've always liked science fiction, so some of the topics are interesting. But the whole show is shifted toward this gloom and doom Apocalyptic philosophy. On top of that, while Art and George are predicting the world's imminent doom, and pontificating on a kind of irrational supernaturalism not seen since the Stone Age, they are also cracking annoying jokes, without any sense of cognitive dissonance. My gosh, the show annoys me. And seriously, how many of the callers on that show are mentally ill? I know that I have heard several people with some type of schizo-affective disorder call in (unless someone really believes they are a wolf man). Shouldn't it be illegal to enable this type of mental illness on the public airwaves? (This is coming from someone with a mental illness.) If I have to hear one more show where George Noory is asking a caller, completely straight-faced, "Did you see any alien-human hybrid babies while you were on their craft?" or "What was the alien base like on the other side of the moon?", I am going to scream!

Guest Dianne Morang just told everyone who has committed suicide, anyone who struggles with alcoholism, anyone who struggles with drug addiction, anyone who engages in "sexual perversions" (whatever that is), that we can enjoy a stay in Hell. In fact, according to her, most people can expect to go to Hell. This, based on her twenty-five years of "research" into NDEs, psychic phenomena, and other scientifically dubious fields. Hey, but no worries. Hell isn't permanent. It's just a place we go to burn off all our bad karma. And, if you "think happy thoughts" upon dying, you have less of a chance of going to Hell. Of course, this does not bode well for me, as I need to take medication to think "happy thoughts." So, basically, according to afterlife expert Dianne Morang, who wrote the bizarrely titled e-book "How the Hell to Get the Hell Out of Hell" (Oh, tee-hee, isn't that funny?), and who uses modern utilitarian philosophy to synthesize multiple ancient belief systems that all engage in either-or/black-white thinking and have nothing to do with one another, I am going to Hell. And, you know what else? According to Dianne Morang, if you have schizophrenia, you are likely just having contact with other dimensions. No, it's not a brain disease. It's a spiritual gift. Yea! Oh, and your pets can see ghosts. So, when Fido's barking at the wind, it's actually Uncle Harry standing there. Isn't Coast to Coast AM lovely? Please, someone tell me you listened to this show last night and cursed the radio like me!!!!

Why not just listen to music? Why scar your soul by listening in anger?

Just turn it off...

Of course, you are right. And I usually do not listen if I think something will bother me. In fact, I stopped listening after an hour. I was just...venting. Just wanted to talk about my feelings with others. Just wanted to see how they felt. That's all.
