This is not issued to anybody directly or indirectly. Just to clarify for me...
I made the assumption that some people on here liked Michael Moore, and that is the only reason I posted what I did regarding Mike and his movie "Sicko". Sorry for the assumption.

I haven't seen Sicko.
But when 'Bowling for Columbine' was shown here there was a standing ovation in the theatre.

At a small college where I once taught I attended a screening of Bowling for Columbine followed by a discussion. One student was struck by the statistic in the film regarding the extent to which US military spending dwarfs that of any other nation. His conclusion was fascinating, that the rest of the world truly does owe Americans a great debt of gratitude for shouldering the responsibility for keeping the peace at such evident expense to ourselves.

Trying to look on the bright side, I'd say that some of the world does owe the US a debt of gratitude for its military activities, and that's Europe and Australasia and Taiwan.
But there is much of the rest of the world that has no reason to see it that way at all.
10 years ago I was in Vietnam and there were the occasional ex-serviceman Christian US missionary come to spread the word, and I thought 'Have you no shame?'
