I like to watch the news broadcasts from Europe.
I find them much more balanced, I appreciate how they cover international affairs, I like how they try to appeal to intelligence, and really discuss the issues, rather than just read headlines and inspire fear. I think our American news media has us addicted to fear. They plant a seed of terror "killer on the loose, is he in your neighborhood? tune in at six..." And then they resolve that. The killer is behind bars, but then they make us afraid of something else. Why do we allow them to lead us around on a leash of fear? Why can't they be more balanced. Fear is important, yes. But so is curiousity. Jon Stewart has shown us that humor can be addictive too.

yeah and CNN go on and on and..
and other ones are worse:-) (my opinion only)..
e.g. News Hour with ..I like watching the German news(The Journal) occasionally too.. not more than once a month though!, and the BBC have some good articles/videos in occasionally. I like some of the radio stations over there too.
I think I prefer the British sense of humour or something.
