Yeah, me too. I'd like not to feel scornful and contemptuous when it comes to politics, but I haven't managed it yet. Blocks too, they get me. Here you can be blocked for half the titles in the history section of a bookshop. Take "The March of Folly" by Barbara Tuchman. Not her best book, but even so. I have no idea what it is acceptable to say here. Would it be uncivil to talk about folly? Incidentally, I think that taking folly and ignorance seriously as limits on successful human interventions is old fashioned conservatism, went out with Harold Macmillan etc here I go again.

Looks like a very interesting and informative book. I imagine though that someone in cyberspace could be offended.
