Pro's ... in a next candidate.

Posted by deirdrehbrt on March 10, 2006, at 8:30:14

Here are some of the things that I'll be looking for in a next candidate.

Pro freedom of choice.

Pro a government that knows the difference between just and un-just wars.

Pro supporting other nations without forcing them to adopt our form of government.

Pro true freedom of religion, and not just supporting the "majority" religion.

Pro allowing soldiers' families to not have to fight to get their deceased child's religious emblem placed on their toumb-stones.

Pro true separation between church and state.

Pro not trying to find a way around laws one doesn't like.

Pro integrity

Pro the first ammendment, and not circumventing it.

Pro the right to privacy.

Pro requiring real real legal authority to permit wiretaps on citizens.

Pro informing congress when major decisions that might impact the US, or which would outrage the citizens, before they happen.

That's the start of my shopping list. Who can add?

Great points! (nm) » deirdrehbrt
