Well it is a cliche and I've read the advice on this site. I am in such a hole with this now though. I've told him how I feel and that I will miss him in 4 sessions time when my cbt therapy ends. I've been seeing him for over a year and I want so much to just keep on touch afterwards but he says that it would be unethical for him. If I met him in a pub by chance he wouldn't ignore me surely? We don't live near eachother but he'd mentioned where he lives and I could go to his local on the offchance of seeing him. My friend thinks this is really unhealthy but I think if he saw me there he would talk to me and we would get on well and he's not breaking any rules. I have waited my whole life to meet this man and I am heartbroken at the prospect of never ever seeing him again.
This is the end of the thread.
