My Husband was diagnosed with Type II Diab. in 06. To date he has not gotten control of his BS. Lately if he doesn't like a reading he does the test again immediately. He takes the number he likes best. How can the reading be so vastly different in less than one minute, i.e.: 220 one minute later 192? I need some help here.

Do you calculate the meter for accuracy? Used to have to maybe the newer ones don't. I'd let him get a docs blood reading. Is he on oral meds? Phillipa
