Also just talked to one of two neighbors who had thyroid taken out. She's just back from NYC where her endo is and found out which she already knew that her's hadn't been stablized in a while so dose changed and found out anemic also. Always tired she said. Phillipa

Interesting thread!
I also had high levels of stress prior to getting an autoimmune disease (Sjogrens) and hypothyroidism...
On the other hand, I also got bitten by an infection tick and was treated with anitbiotics for Lyme disease.
Possibly a chicken & egg scenario.
