Why when my thyroid TSH does anxiety get out of control and isn't tiredness what's supposed to happen. Luckily got the old endo back. Two years to regulate it and poof this other endo messed it up with one small change and then never notified me of the change and two weeks later found out. I'm devastated. Love Phillipa

Hi Phillipa,
sorry I didn't reply back to you in the "psychology-therapy" thread about my thyroid when it was so high. (this format is still confusing to me and I wasn't able to relocate that thread of yours-- I apologize) You asked me how I felt, when my levels were so so high-- I didn't feel anxious like you've mentioned... I also wonder why you feel anxious...???
I was a bit tired but not a whole lot more than before it went up-- the thing was-- my depression... it went way way low..... had to convince the doctor I didn't need a stay at the hospital-- which wasn't an easy task. Was wondering-- how are things going for you now? I hope your levels have gone back to a healthy level.
thinking of you

Hey no problem. As of today three docs fighting over correct dose. Evidently there is a thyroid loop and I don't understand as TSH was down to 2.5 but they said T4 was high and it's more important. Didn't sleep last night worrying about who to believe and how to figure it out. The endo says down to l00mcg six days and a half of that other day. Wants to lower it. Was on 125mcg for a few weeks. Love Phillipa ps any lit you have if you babbleme I'll give address. Thanks for responding.

Well, with three doctors-- sounds like you'll have MORE than a second opinion! ;o)
I take and have taken 100mcg daily for many years -- still think I need an increase though, but my family doc won't listen. I'm changing family docs this summer so hopefully my new one will be more open to listening to patients. I've had to wait 6 months for an appointment! Not enough doctors here.I'm sorry, I don't know what "babbleme" means. *blushing*.... told you I'm not so good with this format. :o( Is it some kind of private message and if so- how do I go about to do it? if you don't mind me asking.....sorry.....
I do have a couple good books on this subject I could recommend to you-- let me know if you're interested.
Hope you get your thyroid situation straightened out real soon-- if it's even possible- I'm wondering that on this end-- in my case anyway.
good day to you!

Oh babblemail yes is a private message that Dr. Bob can read if it is insulting or mean. See how my name is in blue? That means I have my babblemail on. Click the name in Blue and you will see a place to write a message on that goes to that person. You can click at the top to keep a copy for you and to send it to the person at the very bottom of that message board is a space that says send babblemail. If you want yours on so others can reply directly to you go to registration and click yes babblemail on. Hope this helps. Also what type symptoms do you have from your thyroid that you feel you need a change? Love Phillipa

OH-- I didn't know all that. Thank you for taking the time to explain it! You're awesome! I went and changed my babblemail- hope it will work now.(I thought it meant I would get posts to my email *shrugs*... I didn't know it was private messages)
oh yea, my symptoms I deal with-- are lethargy, depression, broken concentration and sometimes delusions.(I have anxiety and panic attacks but I don't think, in my case, those have anything to do with my thyroid- I've struggled with PTSD) I've read that the thyroid can play a part in some symptoms. I've NEVER ever had energy-- I recall in my teens and twenties even, I could never stay awake past 1:00am, never had the energy to "party". guess that kept me out of some types of trouble -- but I still managed to find trouble elsewhere! ;o)
well- I'm off to "babbleyou"! hope I can figure it out!
