I'm not too sure if this is in the right place so feel free to move it I really didn't know where it should appropriatly be.
A few years ago I had "happened" upon the site healthyplace.com to check out a few things, they concern themselves with depression, bipolar, mental health support, conditions, meds and their scandal and such, quizzes to test yoursef along with a monthly newsletter that you can sign up for, personally I do not remember signing up for this , by hey it was years ago and I don't often read that much of non important mail. Today as I was blocking much of my unnecessary e-mails to create more space I read this newsletter from healthy place.com and noticed that the mailling list that it was addressed to was "abuse-list@healthyplace.com", this really peeved me for a place that seemed so concerned with mental health issues to create a mailing list and label it as such. Call it anything else spam list, propaganda...but the words abuse and mental health ring really clearly for some people who are reading this and subliminally passing over the to: address as their newsletter is read.
I know that I'm the type of person to make something bigger than what it may be, but it just seems like someone at that site isn't thinking too cleary about the message of their site by doing this.
I had to voice my opinion somewhere other than to write them my own opinion of course in a nice way ;)
Thanks for listening if you've managed to read this far.
This is the end of the thread.
