My husband thought it was odd yesterday when I was laughing so hard that my right hand got weak. Yet it's very common for me. My neurologist thought it was cataplexy, is it?, and that it was a further sign of mild narcolepsy.
Hmmm... I'll have to think about it. It's not like I drop off to sleep in the middle of sentences or anything. When I get upset I get overwhelming sleepiness. But I thought that was just to escape.
It does run in my mother's family.
