I sneeze and sneeze and sneeze.....:-(

Posted by sleepygirl on June 3, 2006, at 22:30:24

every once in a while I realize I am allergic to something....what it is I do not know, but I'm sneezy and drippy and itchy and scratchy and red

I am thankful that this does not happen as often as it does for some, because it is quite unpleasant

What works for me, right then, in that moment, is 500 mg niacinamide.

I used to require steroids and hoohah, just to breathe. Just to see. Now, I don't. I can't prove I'm doing better because I make sure I maintain a reservoir of essential nutrients *inside* my body, but even then, when that isn't enough, taking a high dose to address situational symptoms seems to finish the job.

Your body may vary.

I am allergic to my cat.

It's terrible

But the cat lives in a different state right now. When i go visit her, I have to take claritin (loratidine) and keep my albuterol inhaler handy

but, something about having a cute fluffy that talks to you, is a cushy warm water bottle, and purrs..

Well that kind of unconditional love is worth a few sneezes, in my opinion.

Heres a picture of what she looks like

and my buttertart project too
thanks for looking :)

Awwww! She's lovely with her blowsy fur.

I'm allergic to my kitty, too. She lives with me (and my husband) despite my inconvenient inclination, and gets a water bath once a week to pull off any extra dander and hair that she's been wanting to shed. Not that she likes it (she doesn't), but she tolerates it, all en route to getting her slice of turkey.

Plus, the water bath means that I can live with her and not even sneeze when I go home.

That's reserved for the out of doors.
