Strange question -

Posted by LegWarmers on February 28, 2006, at 22:26:42

How do you know, if a ringing/buzzing sound is only audible to you? Without having to ask the strangers next to you lol
For ex.. do these noises happen often day to day?

thanks

How does a person know, that they actually have ringing in their ear? How do you disinguish it between ringing sounds that happen day to day and ones that only you can hear, in the following senarios, A) you are alone when it happens, or B) you are in a setting where it would be strange to ask?
OR C) this is impossible to answer

Can you carry your ears to where you can ask?

Or carry your ears out of the vicinity? To check to see if the sound goes with them, or gets louder or softer?

That thought... had NEVER even crossed my mind!!

...like how do you know you're not dreaming when you are (or think you are) awake.

...or vice versa.
