Quick history, A few years ago I smoke a pack to 2 packs of newport full flavors daily, without a break, for roughly 3 years. I was able to quit, and went without a single drag for almost 2 years. NOw I'm back into the college scene and drinking has started me again. NOw here's the weird part. If I go out at night and drink, I'm close to chain smoking , right now I'm up to maybe 2 - 3 packs a week.
HOWEVER, here's the kicker. When I wake up in the morning, no craving. thought of a cigarette feels gross, I dont want one with my coffee, I dont want one throughout the day, not one bit! can anybody explain this?
I do get cravings when it starts to get late to go "out" and I'm noticing more and more I want to go bowling, or to a bar, or club.....(i.e. places that have alcohol , and in turn cigarettes), is that what's happening? I'm craving it indirectly and not realizing it? Trying to figure out what is going on and how to stop.
I figure I still have the upper hand because like I said I do not crave during the day at all.
thanks
