Chaser - the "miracle hangover drug"....I have been known to havea few drinks here and there ;) , but I was curious....in the morning, you may FEEL better, but does it actually lower your BAC at a faster rate or just nullify the negative physical feelings.
(Sorry if this is redundant if you read my post before, I'm trying again, no responses last time)Thanks

The product is a blend of chalk and charcoal. It works by binding certain chemicals, and preventing their uptake across the walls of the stomach or intestine. Instead, they are retained in the gut, and pass in your feces.
The product does not affect drunkenness. It does not affect the metabolizing of alcohol in any way. It has zero effect on BAC.
The product absorbs chemicals that are in the alcoholic beverage. Those chemicals may be responsible for the flavour of the alcohol, or they may be incidental to the production of the beverage. But, those chemicals are also responsible for what ultimately becomes a hangover (according to some research). By keeping those chemicals out of the bloodstream, you can prevent the hangover before it can form.
An example. I know people who get "red wine hangover" symptoms. They can drink white, but not red, wine. The producers of this product are suggesting that red wine with Chaser will not produce a red wine hangover. I know people who can't drink Scotch, for similar reasons. Just examples of what I think they're getting at.
Whether it really works for you would be the subject of an experiment. I expect the product works best if you are not eating while drinking. But remember, it has no effect on the alcohol itself. You will be just as drunk, etc.
