I had a spinal tap 9 days ago- afterwards, I've been having horrific ( I might HORRIBLE) headaches anytime I sit upright for very long or stand. I do much better when lying flat.
They concluded that something was punctured during the procedure and has led to spinal fluid leaking. They tried a blood patch (went back in and tried to repair the whole) but it didn't help.
Any ideas on how long this will last? The headaches aren't quite as bad as they were, but I still can't sit up or stand for long at all before the pounding comes back.
I honestly assumed I would be much better by now.

Spriggy call your doctor and tell him you're no better it should be better by now and it's not safe to have a hole in your spine that could lead to infection invading your spinal fluid. Love Jan
