Natural cellular defense? Zeolites?

Posted by spriggy on October 6, 2005, at 16:08:44

A couple from our old church contacted me and has bombarded me with information about something called Zeolites (some type of mineral from volcanoes).

They claim it helps build immune systems, free you from allergies, get rid of yeast, etc..

All of this appeals to me (if it's true) because of my health problems but I don't want to spend $40 on snake oil.

I've read all the information they've given me and it sounds promising, BUT they are trying to sell me this product.

Anyone know if there is any validaty to this stuff?

Spriggy, It sounds like snake oil to me. I wouldn't buy it. It could actually maybe harm you. Fondly, Phillipa

Zeolites have been around for many years, mainly used in land fills, and water filteration systems. The reason is because they absorb so well. In fact, zeolites were dumped at Chernobil (sp???). They work like a sponge, sucking up toxins, heavy metals, etc. I know of this product very well. It has a patent because no one has been able to make the zeolite safe or in a format for humans to take. Until now. This product is safe, was given the GRAS status by the FDA, and works the same manner, it soaks up the toxins in your body.

and yes, I took it. I felt so much better. I also became a distributor. If you have any questions I would be more than happy to answer them for you, but this product isn't going to hurt you. And you get your money back if you don't like it.

Personally, I think it is tacky to sell it while at Church, but that's just me.
