My doctor has given me hydrodone to take daily for my fevers/aches.
It says to take 2 every 4 to 6 hours, but I only take one pill (5/500) and then take an extra strength tylenol along with it.
I take 1 per day, the rest of the day, I try to take Motrin/Aleve.
Anyway, is this too much tylenol? Is there an amount that one could overdo it and harm the liver?
I'm not a big person, am a bit concerned but this is the only thing that takes away this "fever/flu like" feeling and helps me take care of my family.
Thanks!

Hi Spriggy,
The maximum single dose of acetaminophen in 1000mg. The maximum dose per 24 hours is 4000mg. Always leave at least 4 hours between doses.
