Ever since I got thrush about a month ago, I have kept these weird sores on my tongue.
Right now, one is on the end of my tongue, it's white and it hurts so bad I can hardly talk (lucky husband!). ha ha.
Anyway know what these are?
I think my immune system has shut down and taken a vacation.
My word.

I think they might be canker sores. I used to get them all the time when I was overworked and stressed and not sleeping enough. They can really hurt!!! There's some products on the market for them. I'd post the website I just found describing them, but I can't seem to cut and paste it. Feel better :-)

yup canker sores for sure. They hurt so much and can often be caused by too much candy as well. they can get really big as well. here is a pic of one on a lip and on treating them.

I think I have figured out the connection. I've been eating foods with a lot of lime lately, I think it's the acid in the lime.
The sores got better, than I ate some black bean lime salsa dip and it came back!
thanks for your help.
