Usually, I try to eat healthy, well-rounded meals, but several times a week, I'm in too much of a rush, so I'll eat a protein bar. I've tried quite a few brands, and I've realized that several of them make me feel horrible and hyper. The "Balance" brand is one of the worst offenders. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have been eating them for a while now and I've recently started having gastrointestinal problems from some of them - not with "Balance" bars though. I don't get hyper from them though.

What are they sweetened with?
I can't tolerate Splenda in the least bit! It makes me wired and gives me diarrhea (too much information? ha).

I used to like Splenda but then it started making me feel dizzy and nauseous. It was scary. I won't ingest that stuff any more.
This is the end of the thread.
