Larry or anyone else know about supplements for diabetic peripheral neuropathy? Alpha lipoic acid is supposed to help but I`ve read that only the racemic "R" form is good, is this true or an advertising gimmick? Anyone know anything about benfotiamine? This is vitamin B1 modified to make it fat soluble. It`s used for neuropathy in Germany. It seems like it`s worth a try because it supposedly helps reverse the nerve damage, not just ease the pain like Neurontin, but I worry it could be harmful if too much builds up in your system.
