I wasn't sure where to put this.. Maybe I'm in the wrong spot.
I sure missed you all. I tried to check in when I could but life got really nuts in a matter of weeks for me.
Here is my latest update (I feel like I'm living in a soap opera, ha ha):
* our house flooded- they had to replace all the bottom floor and the entire back wall
* I spent 4 weeks living with the in laws (whoever wants to send me a medal or bronze, message me for my address)
* I got diagnosed with Lupus (still trying to figure that one out!)
* My husband (who is an associate pastor) had to go and confront our new senior pastor about ethical issues he was concerned about (okay, to be honest, we had one of those pastor's who give Christians a bad name!), so in the end, my husband's last day at our church will be tomorrow's service.
It gets more interesting in that, half of our church are rising up and asking that our new pastor resign and my husband be reinstated. It's a big ole' huge church mess. It's sad to even admit this becuase I know it's these very things that make people look at us Christians and think, " see... why would I want THAT?" But I can say honestly that God is still very faithful despite all of our humanness!
Anyway, we are back in our house after 2 days of moving everything back in it's place. It ended up NOT being that bad mold, just regular old nasty mold and dry rot.
Regardless, I still have been pretty sick (physically) but have noticed a huge improvement mentally (which is good).
Now, we are just trying to figure out what to do and where we go from here. We have a few churches that have contacted us with positions but they are on the other side of the state-- we will just pray and see where God leads us.
I sure miss you all. Phillipa, I lost your email- please contact me!! I miss you my sweet friend.
And Dr. Bob, I know you have probably spent many days and nights wondering when I would return your boards.. HERE I AM..*snicker*
She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. LOL

It is so good to see you back! I'm still not clear if you ever saw the rheumatologist, or which type of Lupus he thinks you have.
Glad to hear you are back in your house. Your husband did the right thing. Now just sit back and let it all settle out. I was a very active part of a church which basically "split" over a pastor. Loooooooonnnnnnngggg story!
