Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.. Oh yeah... LOL

Posted by Spriggy on April 19, 2005, at 10:56:30

I am basically trying to see how many different diagnosis' I can get in less than six months.

My dr. thinks now I have an autoimmune thingy going on.. So he suggested it is perhaps CFS.

My white count came back elevated (again!), I am still having that afternoon "achy-flu like" feeling and running fevers several times a week.

When I feel that way, I get weird headaches; almost like my brain is swollen (yeah weird.. I know LOL).

I know nothing about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I will have to look it up when I get back home this afternoon but if anyone has any info they can share, I'd appreciate it.

I am cutting out sugar and white flour from my diet. I am also starting a vitamin/mineral support.

Maybe these changes will help.. they can't possibly hurt!

Unfortunately a lot of docs use this diagnosis when they are at a loss as to what is wrong with you. It is a legtimate diagnosis but it must be reached after exploring all the autoimmune diseases. Fondly, Phillipa

Have you been tested for Lupus (SLE)? I have that and feel tired all of the time! Although they haven't got it all figured out yet.
