Being that I was up at 3am, I saw a very interesting infomercial. It was for a book about how the drug companies and the FDA do not want you to get healthier or even thinner. By finding a cure to something, the drug companies lose business. Also, by placing hidden fats and addictive substances in food, the food industry remains profitable.
The author claims that by calling a condition a disease, the natural sunstances found in nature cannot make the claim to cure anything -- even though they do. For example, he had a guy with Acid Reflux disease take a teaspoon of vinegar. He instantly felt better and didn't have to resort to expensive drugs.
There were many diseases mentioned but here are the ones I remember: depression, fibromialgia, diabetes, acid relux disease, cancer, arthritis and herpes.
Anyone heard of this?

Yes,
I've seen it. Is it the one about acid and ph balance or the one with the guy that writes " secret cures the government won't tell you."I get the two mixed up. There is also one with a woman that is similar.
They both make you a bit paranoid. LOL I am sure there is likely some truth to it though.

It's real if you think of it. If they find a cure for cancer think of all the money the drug companies will lose, and all the oncologists out of business. They claim they know a cure I've read. Scarey. Fondly, Phillipa
