Crap crap crap.
I have been putting it off for... well... I haven't been for 8 years now. Two (nearly three) years ago I noticed that about half of both of my top back teeth (the ones right at the back) have broken off. I can feel the flesh inside with my tongue.. They will hurt for a bit... and then I take some antibiotics... and then they are okay.But they need to come out.
One of them HURTS.
Crap crap crap.
I don't wanna go to the dentist!
whine!!But I had better go this week...
sigh.

8 years!!! why have you been avoiding?....I love the dentist. The cleanings not teeth pulling...that sounds yucky,

I don't think they will need to come out, but you may need a pretty painless root canal done or just a bit of grinding of the teeth so they can put a cap or crown over it, shouldn't hurt. I say it shouldn't hurt but I mean after the needle it won't hurt

But the needle hurts!!!! Thats what I am afraid of. Have been in to get a quote. They both need to come out. The flesh and the nerve is exposed. Need to come out

Just make sure that the dentist understands that you are Very Nervous about the needle thing. Most good dentists have learned lots of distracting techniques and they work really well!
Mine tells really bad jokes and you're so busy laughing (or groaning, actually) that you don't feel it at all. Honest. But please don't put it off any longer, dear.

Bugga!!! Hate going to the fang farrier.
Feel for ya kiddo. Have to admit to not having been for more than 10 years. Last time led to an infection and all four wisdom teeth being removed - kinda explains a lot really when you think about it :-)
Getting gassed to the max sounds like a wise plan to me.

Hmm. There is one who says they will put you to sleep with an injection in the arm. I don't mind those kinds of injections so thats ok.
But I still don't want to go.

Can't go yet.
Apparantly I earned too much money this week and last week to be eligable for any government assistance.I didn't declare some marking I did a few weeks back.
I get paid fortnightly.
They halve that to get a weekly amount.
And so I earned too much over that fortnight.
They might prosecute me for that - I have yet to find out.
At the moment they have added that to the amount I earned last week and this week (which I haven't been paid for yet) to decide I don't qualify for any assistance.
That doesn't really make too much sense to you...
But the point is that because I will get paid one day they expect me to live on nothing today.
And so the point is that I can't go to the dentist until the semester break (if I don't get too much marking).Sorry. No can do...
