Tips for exercise motivation please---

I'm singing the song from "Annie"...

"Tomorrow, Tomorrow, there's always tomorrow..."

If I get any more slothful, I'll be in a coma... sigh!

Dr. Bob's double quote stuff is not working well for me lately. As most could figure, I was referring to the musical, little orphaned red headed girl. I'm unsure of the "Bad Dirt" link that pops up, maybe a Freudian slip?

The default link isn't always right, if you scroll down the preview window, you should see the other options and be able to test them out...

I typed you a long message yesterday but when I hit submit, it said that the site was down for maintenance. Anyway...

1) Join a class or find a workout buddy (friend, neighbor, family member, pet, etc.) It's easier to be motivated if someone is counting on you to workout with them. Perhaps your workplace offers something.

2) Buy a new workout tape or machine. Exercise balls are great. They remind many of us of our childhood so working out might actually be fun. (Note: I said might)

3) Tape a picture of yourself on the fridge. One where you may have been thinner or felt you looked great. It gives you a realistic goal of why you're trying to eat better. I used to have an ad on my fridge. Not sure if you remember it but it was the one where the girl had two giant cinnimon rolls for a butt.

Hope these help...

You are a gem!!

Thank you for posting to me.

I swear I'm feeling this time I might actually be successful... little steps.

Thanks so much.

I know you can do it! (nm) » Glydin
