Posted by crazychickuk on November 25, 2004, at 19:18:25

I feel very unwell

i am aching all over especially my shoulders neck arms legs well that is all over.. i have mild headaches, feeling very tired, i feel dreamy and i dont want to be on my own, i am getting more and more panicky and worried that there something bad wrng with me..

in the past i have had 2xecg (brain waves,) ekg mri and blood tests my last blood test was about 4 weeks ago.. nothing is found the docs say depression? i am a little concerned of a brain tumour or something since reading something on the board, BUt i had mri about 2 yrs ago when my anxiety was worse but not as bad as now, and my last eeg was last yr and nothing abnormal was found in my brain.. ? surely if there was, either the mri or eeg would of found it? pretty scary...

thanks

All those things can definitely be attributed to anxiety and depression. Of course you should always make sure there is nothing physically wrong with you. I frequently have felt achy and headachy, (I think it's the tension from anxiety)
And the fatigue can be from your body just being worn out from being so anxious all the time.

Worrying about having serious physical ailments is also a symptom of depression so try and ease your mind a bit with that okay?

Take care

Anxiety does cause many different symtpoms in your body, and sometimes when we are anxious and worry, it's like a ball rolling down a hill. It gets rolling faster and faster, and goes farther down...down...down. I know, I once convinced myself I had something seriously wrong with me, because of anxiety. Test did show nothing, and that was years ago....and I'm still here. You do need to make sure there is nothing physically wrong as said before, but the stress is very tiring and does STRANGE THINGS to your body. Take care and let us know how you are doing. -L
