Most of my life, I have suffered from a really embarrassing affliction of my ears going very very red and hot for no explicable reason. I used to think it might be seasonal as it happened a lot in winter towards the end of the day. I would get red blotches on my chest too. Sometimes it is both ears but often just one ear. When the redness goes away, the other one usually jumps in for good measure. They feel very hot and are hot to the touch aswell.
I am so tired of people asking me why my ears are so red. I find this truly embarrassing.
Any ideas on what might cause these clown ears of mine?

That happens to me when I get angry. I always tell people who work with me that they will be able to tell what kind of mood I'm in by looking at my ears. Which I hide anyways because they are kind of sticky-outy. Don't know why this happens.
