Hi, i have been suffering from chest pain for the last 4 months, and i went to my doctor and he did an EKG and MRI of my chest, everything is good, also i had a physical, everything good aswell , this was like 2 months ago, but i still get chest pain and left arm pain and racing heart , and i went to other doctor thinking it was a heart attack, and he told me im ok, so can anyone tell me why i get chest pain and left arm pain? arent this symptoms of heart attack? im 23 male from los angeles ,, thanks for your help

exact same problem here..... its panic attack trust me... i wa s so frightened when i first had this on tuesday i took myself to the doc o ncall even though he didnt do no tests i knew deep down i am fine it was my first major full blown panick attack... i am still so exhausted... try to relax and dont worry about it..
i am also 23 yrs old female fro mthe uk.. i gave up caffeine and cut my smoking right down.. from like 20/25 to just 2-5 a day then i am gonna give up... scarey stuff.. but u will be ok... tests ruled out bad things..

major panic attacks are my guess-my ex husband always had the same thing and took him to the ER on many occassions thinking he was having a heart attack. BUT.........dont ignore it all together!
get the panic attacks taken care of by a pdoc or your reg doc w/ meds-and DO NOT IGNORE CHEST PAIN W/pain across the shoulders and down the left arm EVER!!!!
