Sounds like a typical UK food day to me! When I lived over there (1990 thru 1996) I was surprised at how much of my diet was comprised of carbohydrates. Of course, I was a lot younger, but I think because daily living involved so much walking, I didn't gain weight until I got booted back over to this side of the pond.

Don't get me started about cheese and onion pie...
