Does anyone know the adverse health effects of these drinks. I drink them daily and because of their distinct flavor I am a little concerned that what is in them might not be so good for the body. Anybody know anything about these drinks please help thank you?

I've never heard of these drinks, well, except for Red Bull. Are they non-alcoholic? Are they carbonated? I can't drink carbonated drinks because of Topamax...makes them taste truly disgusting. But the jolt you get sounds pretty tempting (I'm a coffee addict too!) and I'm trying to find a replacement for afternoon coffee, but I bet these drinks are full of sugar??? I'm trying to get off the sugar too....man, why does everything so GOOD have to be so BAD.....

Basically the information I found after searching the Net was that these energy drinks are not "proven" to be dangerous, but the ingredients are rather freaky-I can't imagine it would be good to consume these on a regular basis at all. There is danger in mixing these with alcohol also. There have been cases of deaths due to high intakes of these beverages followed by exercise, causing kidney failure. I would be concerned about the long term effects of drinking these beverages on a regular basis myself, but there doesn't seem to be any hard facts to back up claims of it being dangerous, just a lot of unvalidated claims.

They are VERY high in sugar and caffiene. If you have a heart condition or are taking other stimulants, this could be a deadly mix.
I used to love red bull with vodka and jagerbombs until I stated taking wellbutrin. Something tells me that it wouldn't be a good mix.

My all time favorite was made by Hansen's. It was Hansen's Energy Drink. It had guarana, taurine, and a few other ingredients. I liked it because it completely killed my appetite, and I got a bit of a high off it. Costco doesn't sale it anymore, so I can't find it.(damn) But I have found that a shot of espresso does the exact same thing. I even convinced my hubby to buy me a espresso machine, he thinks that way I will quit going to starbucks and spending a fortune. As for the ingredients in the energy drinks, I wouldn't worry about it, I believe that the ingredients in diet pop are far worse.

The main problem with drinking these is that they are so expensive. They average about $2.00 per can sometimes $2.25 per can it adds up. They taste quit different then soda and I have heard can be bad on your liver but I cannot find any info on them. Good Luck!!!
