I just had my effexor dose increased to 150mg/day and I seem to be gaining weight as I type! It's all I can think about anymore. I am exercising more than I used to but I cannot stand how I look. Anyone else have this challenge?

Not so much with Effexor, for me. When I took Effexor, I did gain about 40 pounds all told, but it was gradual.
On other ADs, though, it was a different story altogether! Yes, weight gain from meds is a terrible thing, it's agonizing, and it's real. I don't know what to tell you about it, because I never found a solution to it.
Guess the best I can say is, "Talk to your doctor about the weight gain, and MAKE him/her address the issue."
