What do you all think of this diet? My whole family has been on it at one time or another. I am currently on it. I can't seem to lose a pound but I look different. Is anyone into this?

I took a Nutrition class and learned that the Atkins diet is not a good idea. Your muscles "dry out" because you deprive them of essential nutrients. Also, eating a lot of fatty foods can raise cholesterol. Diets are not the way to lose weight. One must maintain a healthy lifestyle and lose weight at an appropiate speed.
