Phillipa,
You wrote,[...I don't know other than just stop..Any suggestions..?...how I used to be...]
In my journey, I have seen a different way that has brought people out of death and into life. But there is great tribulation involved. This tribulation is a sign. It is the same sign as the sign of Jonah. And as Jonah was in the belly of a great fish, stopping the drug(s) will transport one to be in the Heart of the Earth. And those that overcome will be given a Crown of Life.
Now some may think that I mean that the Heart of the Earth is a grave. Not so, for I mean that the Heart of the Earth is possibly the most awful torment one could experiance.
If you would want to be deliverd from the Heart of the Earth, like Jonah was delivered from the belly of the great fish, then take this opportunity to post here and continue dialog. If you do not want to hear more, then reject this opportunity to know what has been revealed to me that could have one delivered from the Heart of the Earth.

Yawn!
Numbing is why a lot of people take these meds. To soften the blow of a cold, harsh world. One that a lot of people can't handle without them, myself included!

But is is not just make believe when one numbs themselves with chemicals? I mean, the chemicals do not chamge the reality of that we are in the world, in your opinion, does it?

The pill can work when one wants to make believe that it works (placebo). But what does one do after the placebo effect stops?
Then there comes a time to some when taking chemicals comes to a condition of death in their minds, and they can not make believe anymore. And they are like standing on one side of a great gulf that is separating them from life and they do not know how to passover. Some contemplate jumping off the cliff to their death, for they know not what to do to save them.
Some call out, "What must I do to be saved?"

Many are called to the edge of the cliff that is on one side of the Great Gulf. You see, the Great Gulf is a symbol of that there is a separation between the two sides. And the Great Gulf that I am talking about is the separation between life and death. And many will be tempted at that place and stand at the edge and look down the shear cliff to see a river at the bottom that looks like a thread from that height.
I stood at that edge. And behold, a Rider on a White Horse appeared and said to me, "There is no temptation taken you but such that is common to all men, but My Father is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above that which you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it."

Kind of like the saying God will give a person something that can't handle. Or something like that? Phillipa

Does not matter to me if it changes the reality or not, only that it changes how my mind perceives the reality is what matters. The world is what it is, if i need drugs to feel better and deal with it better, so be it! I sense a sort of passive-aggressive guilt trip being suggested, which is not needed! By the way, these meds are not placebos! They are powerful, life changing medications. Please don't suggest otherwise.

You see, I am talking here about a life changing experiance. The change is not by human achievement, though. It is by deliverance, which I am getting to as {divine accomplishment}.
Best wishes,

I am not having dialog with you to convince you to abandon using drugs to feel better and deal with it (the world) better.
I am talking here about a change. It is a change of the heart, where one sings a new song. The song has been revealed to me by the God that I give service and worship to, which is the same God that the Jews also give service and worship to, to be The Word of God that one could hear as Spirit.
I am not trying to change your position to use drugs to cause a change, verses the change being accomplished by the Spirit of the God I am talking about. I have invited others that want to accept this opportunity to find out how this could happen to post here in this thread and that one could reject this opportunity also.
I have been talking about a Great Gulf that separates one, symbolically, from death and life. I have come here for those that want to leave one side and reach the other side which is the Kingdom of the God that I give service and worship to. There is a way that has been revealed to me that I want to share with those here that are wanting to leave the use of psychotropic drugs. I think that they stand at the edge of the Great Gulf. For it has been revealed to me that David found himself there also. And he said the following. And if one at the edge could say the following, the God that I am talking about is the God that has promised to lead one to the Kingdom of God. And David said as he stood there, as is in the 139th Psalm the verse 23 and 24;
"Search me, O God; and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts;
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

I have placed my faith in the God of The Bible.
He is the one true God, who sent His Son The Lord Jesus , born of a virgin,who lived a sinless life for 33 years( approx) was crucified, and rose again on the third day.
He offers Eternal Life to all who accept Him.
I have served Him, for some 30 years, and He has never failed me or let me down.
He created each and every one of us, and loves us with an love that is unfathonable.
Because of sin, we live in a fallen world, and have imperfect fallen natures that have the capability of great heights of nobility...and unfortunately great depths of depravity.
The Lord is there....even we we are miserable, depressed and think we cannot go on.
Regardless of our personal struggles with mental illness,..He DOES care about you and I..and knows what we are going through.
Seek Him out in prayer and the Study of His Word...and He promises to reveal Himself to you and I personally.
As I said...He has never let me down or face life alone for over 3 decades.
Praise His holy Name.

I am unsure as to what you are wanting to mean here. If you could post an answer to the following, then I could have the opportunity to respond accordingly.
A. (redacted by respondent)
B. Could you post here what caused, if there is a cause, you to place your faith in the God of the Bible?
C. What are you wanting to mean by {accept}?
D. other questions not stated
