How do I get the feeling back? I used to really feel my faith, strongest when I was younger, before I moved and there were some big changes in my life. FWIW, I'm a member of the United Church of Christ, but I don't think that particularly matters. I used to really feel this incredible joy about God and my faith. But it seems to have disappeared recently. Any ideas on how to get it back?

I'm not sure, but I do know that feeling. And faith is MORE than feeling. It is keeping on even when you don't "feel" it.

Friends,
It is written here,[...faith...is {keeping on} even when you don't "feel" it...].
I ask;
Could this be the same as {overcomming}?

Thanks MidnightBlue. I guess I'm having trouble with the keeping on part because of so many of the things that have happened in the past few years. But I'll keep trying...

Hi Sunnydays-
One suggestion I have for you is to read the book "Purposed Driven Life". It is an easy book to read and once you start it is hard to put down. It changed my whole perspective on life....

I'd just like to plug the double double quotes feature at this site:
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#amazon
The first time anyone refers to a book, movie, or music without using this option, I post this to try to make sure he or she at least knows about it. It's just an option, though, and doesn't *have* to be used. If people *choose* not to use it, I'd be interested why not, but I'd like that redirected to Psycho-Babble Administration:

Thanks!

momofdnd ~ I looked on amazon.com for the book you suggested and couldn't find it. Could you please give me a link to where I can find it? Thanks in advance.Angel Girl
