I opened the link to Malachi that was part of my other link and wondered what everyone thinks of prophecy, whether you pay attention to it, believe it, or doubt it.

If you do a google search on "genealogy" and think about the Internet as a tool and a means to do genealogy, one would wonder if Malechi 4:5-6 is being fulfilled right before our eyes. I wonder if the whole purpose of inventing the Internet isn't really for genealogy, and the prevention of God's alternative to smite the earth with a curse. If the hearts of the children do not turn to their fathers, and the hearts of the father"s" to their children, God has no other alternative than to smite the earth with a curse. Most would discount it because they do not believe Elijah has restored this to the earth, but by observing what has happened with genealogy, people the world over searching for their roots, being almost driven to do so, how can one doubt he has?
By the way, this verse is the last one recorded in the Old Testament, complete with promise that God will send Elijah to the earth some day. How many of you have read it seriously? Do you suppose it refers to us??
People of the Jewish faith still look for him.
People of my faith believe it is key. http://scriptures.lds.org/gse/elijahCount me as a believer in all of God's prophecy.

Never thought of that before.
I certainly believe the internet could be a tool used in fulfulling the prophecy in Revelations 11:9.

And CNN, FOX, and the like. Imagine, people laughing and mocking while the prophets lay there for 3 days, then watching them rise and go into heaven. Somehow the whole world will be watching, perhaps on the Internet. I wonder which other prophecy might have a connection.
This is the end of the thread.
