We have been planning/praying/preparing and our first service (for the church we have planted) will begin September 25th.
Please pray for us. This is the biggest step (shall I say LEAP) of faith we've ever taken.
We believe strongly God called us to do this, now we have to believe He'll provide all we need (and that people will show up, ROFL).If you think of it, please pray God bless our new church (Cornerstone Community Church).

Spriggy, I will be praying...
Yes, besides intessesory prayer, God does bless me with words of knowledge, and an anointing to teach. In fact, I am a teacher. I will also be teaching the Word one day.
Pray for my husband. He needs to come back to God.

Wow!!! You guys are moving fast! How awesome! Wish I could come to it. Will you be worshipping as David did--dancing in his underwear for God? ROFLOL!!! Guess it's best that I'm not able to be there if that's the case... ;~}

We are two weeks away from our first service.
We will be having our church at our local grange (kind of a community hall- they have wedding receptions and such there) until we can raise enough money to get an actual building of our own.
The people in charge of the grange gave us the place for half price when we told them it was for a church service (PRAISE GOD!).
Please pray we can find enough help with the children. My husband thinks it's important for me to be in the adult service with him (especially as we are first getting started) so we need to find extra help with the children that will be at our church.
We are also going to be the "youth pastor's" on Wednesday nights (at our house) so we will be burning the candle on both ends, so to speak.
I know God will help us do all He's called us to, but I am starting to feel a bit overwhelmed with the reality of all the details!
We could use prayer as we get closer and closer. Thanks!
