I forgot by whom, but it was prophesied that in 2005 there was going to be a major disaster in the United States. I kept wondering when, where, and/or how it would happen. I forgot who said it, but I remember that it was someone I trusted.
Needless to say hurricane Katrina showed up.
I also remember Bob Zaninee came to our church about a year before 911. He said that the U.S. would see destruction like never before seen. He went into great detail.

I had not heard of that before (those specific prophecies).
My own personal opinion is that we are truly entering the "last days." I see so many signs of the end times. It's almost scarey (and a bit exciting).
I would love to hear more about your gift of intercessory prayer- the reason is becuase my own personal theory/opinion about intercessors is that they tend to have several other spiritual gifts along with intercessory.
Typically, I find they have the gift of "word of knowledge" and often even prophecy/exhortation. It's almost as if they go hand in hand with intercessor.
I am also called to intercessory prayer for other's. God often wakes me in the middle of the night to pray for someone about a specific something- then later when I tell them, they will say, " How weird.. at that very moment I was needing prayer for such and such."
So in essence, the calling to prayer for someone at a specific time/need tends to be a bit prophetic in a sense.
I also have had several dreams and visions that have come to pass. I'm a big believer that God speaks supernaturally through His spirit in that way.
I am sure this sounds weird to the average person but it's something I know is true. There is no possibly way I could know the things I know about other's or the future unless the Holy Spirit revealed them to me.
My husband thinks it's very, very strange sometimes but he has learned to listen to me when I say, " The Lord told me."
I also have the gift of discernment. This one sometimes feels more like a burden then a gift/ it comes with a big responsibility.
Anyway, I rambled enough. I'd love to hear about your spiritual gift.

Followed you both here. Jesus came to me in my sleep twice when my youngest daughter was in the hospital. She was l8months old. Wouldn't eat. I tried everything. Well Jesus appeared two nights in a row. The first night I ignored it and the second night i believed it. He kind of looked at me and said be strong. The next day I looked aat my daughter in the hospital and said to myself if she wants to live she will. She got better that day. Thought I'd share it even though it has nothing to do with Katrina. Fondly, Phillipa
