Yes, He's there, and here, and everywhere. That's His nature.
He's with you right now, and sometimes we can sense Him, and sometimes we can't. That's why our faith has to rise above our feelings, above our perceptions. Yes, I know that's a hard thing to do...
But He knows what you can bear, and what you can handle... which is why He wants you to release your burdens to Him. Just tell Him that you can't handle them anymore, and would He please take them from you?
It's ok to ask Him for a sign of His assurance... a sign of His love, and His care for you. It's ok. He knows we're weak, and it's no shame... it just is. In fact, it's when I'm the most weak that I can "allow" Him to be the most strong for me...
I just tell Him that I can't handle it (whatever it is at the time) anymore, and if He doesn't take over, then it's just going to fall apart, because I'm powerless over such things.
He's come through for me, time and again, and I'm so happy to hear that he's come through for you, too.
God, can you give him another sign? One that he can't miss... one that touches him deeply. One that stirs him, and lets him feel Your love for him.
We all need that sometimes, God. Thank You that you ARE love itself.
Shalom, Dena

Hey Matt,
Your're OK, just the way the are. Mind crazy-ness affects most all of us.
I have the raging thoughts and moods that govern my mind. But they aren't me. Inside we are all *OK*
I was helped immensely by belonging to a mens group in my early 20's. First at my church.
It gave me a strength that I didn't know was there.be well, ~Jake

Hey Matt, i know that when times are rough which seems quite often, i ask the same question. Somehow, someway i always make it through and i know that it is because of God. You are NOT ALONE so hang in there; remember, when there were only 1 set of footprints it was then that He carried you.
This is the end of the thread.
