A while back you asked what my name meant. I shared a story about whispering in my ear.
Since you didn't reply to my post. I decided to go back and read some of your postings on the faith site.
I found a post where you mentioned something whispered in your ear.
I have tried to find it again and am really too sick today for that task .
I never heard back from you and wondered if I spooked you. The story I told you had no connection to a past posting from you. I had no idea you had said that in a prior posting.
I was intrigued we had used the same words. what a remarkable coincidence.Did my posting seem weird to you? does this seem like an off the wall question?
I have a fever right now so my thinking is off. I had to rewrite this a few times to make sense. I hope it does.

No, not at all spooked. :) I just get preoccupied at times.
I thought your explanation of your name on Admin was lovely. But I think maybe you're talking about a post on Social? I'll have to go back and look for it.
I don't remember my post here on Faith either, to tell you the truth. lol. Did I use "whispered in my ear"? I think I usually use "still small voice" because that's the language of my childhood. I was raised Mormon (and Catholic too, but more Mormon).

you're right it was on the Admin board. I was raised catholic too. I found the sikh experience was similar to being a catholic. Lots of ritual and beautiful music. I loved the experience of both religions in many ways. The sikh practice is much more rigorous. Up at 3:30am every morning and doing Sadhana till 6:30 or 7am. I never got any sleep but loved the beauty of the practice. Going to summer solstice was glorious...on the top of a mountain range in New Mexico. Heaven pure heaven. I was never so high. My marriage to a man who was into the dharma killed the short stay (5 years more or less). He was on his way out and I was so newly in. It made me real sad but I lost my desire to be part of the dharma. I still have wonderful feelings and memories of my short journey into Sikh dharma. Thanks for replying to my post.
This is the end of the thread.
