I am currently in a small town in Nevada, where my husband and I are taking a wee break from the action back home. In the last seven days, I've milked cows 10 times, worked in an elementary school cafitaria for 1 and 1/2 hours since Tues.
So I am a working woman. The Milkmaid duties will reduce themselves to 2 days a week now that I am trained - actually they will be 3 days a week till the other milker returns from harvesting.
Ah, the agricultural life - no city living for this gal.
All this to say that I am at the computer at the office of the motel we are staying at and I glanced at what's been going on on the faith board and was AMAZED! Jeez, I don't really have the time to read it here - but I can't wait to see what ya all are inspired by these days.
Looks like the spirit is really moving through this board. Know that I am with you all in spirit if not in voice.
It's been great to get away to an even smaller town with NO agriculture. Kinda like Wyoming with it's wide open spaces and no farming ( just a lot of pipelines going this way and that under that empty space... )
Till later, happy trails,
Hab

Tabitha,
Thanks for your enthusiasitic reply!
So much more is going on now. A new job at at dairy milking cows 3 evenings a week. A new job at an elementary school for 1 1/2 hours an afternoon in the cafetaria dishroom. My in-laws arrive Weds for 8 days on wedsday ( I am off from both jobs for that time - and boy do I need the rest! )
I've been cooking for 3 days to freeze so that when they are here I can just warm and serve without having to spend too much time in the kitchen - more time in living and yard room visiting.
We'll be spending the first 2 days in Ogden, UT visiting the Dad's last 2 sisters of 12, and the last 3 days in Salt Lake City visiting the Mom's last remaining brother and wife of 11 children. All are pretty sick. In between we come up here to Idaho for a two day visit and for them to see our new home for the first time.
The in-laws and relatives are all Morman and it should be interesting the converstations that will transpire. The folks are 81 and 83 them selves. It'll be an old folks variety tour. I am looking forward to it. Especially now that I have the cooking out of the way!
I wish there were time to read all that is going on the faith board. It looks like a bunch. Ah well, things will quite down a bit after the 2nd of Oct.
Take care Tabitha, hope your having some fun yourself.
Habby
