a course in miracles

Try this book "a course in miracles"

If you would like to be healed of any and all
Problems that you have and will ever have. Read
This book called "a course in miracles". Work the daily lessons that come with the book. I have been diagnosed with ADD, depression, alcoholism, and drug addiction
And have tried many different meds (none being helpful for very long).
The information and daily lessons in this book have completely changed
My life. Do not believe that you cannot be completely happy and joyous now.
Jesus says, "the kingdom of heaven is at hand" & "the kingdom of heaven is now"
I have learned that this is true, but don't take my word for it see for your self.

jay60,
It is of great interest reading your post. You wrote,[...tried meds...not helpful for long...]. Then you wrote of another way that changed your life completly,[...the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand...which is now...]. Then you wrote,[...I have learned that this is true...].
It is refreshing to hear from someone that has experianced going from psychotropic drugs to being given power by God to overcome their affliction. Any more of your experiance posted here would be appreciated. It has been revealed to me that [the Kingdom of God is within you]. Does that match any of what you also have experianced?
Lou

"The Kingdom of God is within you"
Yes this is it!

"A course in miracles" is a channel to find your
Natural state ("as you were created") as perfect
Spirit.
All knowledge is within, this knowledge of you is being blocked by attack thoughts are
Grievances held up by false self-concepts,
These self-concepts are like a black veil, which blocks the truth. As you begin to remove these judgments the veil will be lifted and the truth
Will be revealed to you.

this site has alot of info on the course.

jay60,
I have read, partially, the web site. Some incredible things:
1. I am from Cincinnati.(but I do not know the group)
2. That group , incredibly, starts off with [forgivness], which was the first Gate in my experiance.
It appears that the group has some connection with Church of Christ, Scientist. Do they?

Have not read it myself . . . but know several people who have and they all love it. All reports I have heard are excellent. Glad it helped you!

They are connected with all spiritual paths that
Rely on a personal experience of God,
And no organizations that rely on just the belief in someone else's experience.

I'd just like to plug the double double quotes feature:

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#amazon

But I don't mean to be pushy. Did you deliberately not use it to link to Amazon? If so, I'd be interested in why, over at Psycho-Babble Administration:

Thanks!

jay60,
I have talked with the group leaders today and they have a house not far from me and I will be visiting them shortly. They do not have any religious affiliation, and they only use Mary Baker Edy's book as part of their belifes that [the Kingdom of God is within you and other related topics].They also use the book, "A Course in Miricles", and other books written that are corrosponding to their foundational beliefs.
Are you near Cincinnati?
Lou

A course in miracles & Christian Science are both cults. They start with Biblical principles & twist the truth. Whenever the self is the center, God is not. Until we put God (as He truly is, not as we define Him) in the center, we are prone to deception and danger.

The idea here is support, so please don't put down the beliefs of others. Thanks,

Bob
